Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Cryptos.bet is built to work with as little personal data as possible. No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, no consent banner: we simply do not collect what we do not need. This policy explains, in plain language, what we do collect, why, and what your rights are.

1. Who We Are (Data Controller)

Cryptos.bet is an information website about crypto gambling: a comparator of crypto casinos and bookmakers, a sports section with match statistics and analyses, and a blog. We do not operate any casino or gambling service and never hold user funds. Cryptos.bet is the controller responsible for the limited personal data described in this policy. For anything related to this policy or your personal data, contact us at privacy@cryptos.bet (or legal@cryptos.bet).

2. Data We Collect

We are built to work with as little personal data as possible, and we have no user accounts, so we do not ask you to register or log in to browse. Newsletter (optional): if you subscribe, we store your email address to send you the newsletter, and nothing more. Contact form: the content of any message you send us, so we can reply. Technical data: our hosting providers keep short-lived server logs (IP address, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention. We do not operate player accounts, we do not collect wallet addresses, betting data, or gambling history, and we do not perform identity verification (KYC). When you follow an affiliate link to a third-party operator, any data you provide there is governed by that operator's own privacy policy, not ours.

3. Cookies We Use

We only set cookies that are strictly necessary or requested by you: ui_lang (remembers your language, 12 months), market (remembers your market/region preference), and cbet_geo (remembers your detected country to show a regional notice where required). We also store one item in your browser (local storage), cbet_geo_ack, to remember you acknowledged that notice so it is not shown again. We set no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. This is why you see no cookie banner: under EU/CNIL rules, consent is only required for non-essential cookies, and we use none.

4. Analytics Without Cookies

We measure site traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first tool that uses no cookies, no localStorage, and no fingerprinting. Because it stores nothing on your device, it triggers no consent requirement and no cookie banner. It gives us anonymous, aggregated statistics (page views, referrers, countries) and cannot identify or follow you across sites.

5. Why We Process Your Data (Legal Bases)

Consent: sending you the newsletter you subscribed to (you can withdraw at any time). Legitimate interest: replying to your messages, keeping the site secure, preventing abuse, measuring audience anonymously, and operating our affiliate links. Legal obligation: where applicable law requires us to retain or disclose certain data.

6. Who We Share Data With

We never sell your data. We rely on a small number of processors to run the service: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database), Cloudflare (network, security, and anonymous analytics), and a newsletter delivery service for subscriber emails. When you click an affiliate link to a casino, you leave our site: any affiliate cookie is set by the destination site, on its own domain, under its own responsibility. We place no third-party affiliate pixels on our pages.

7. International Data Transfers

Cryptos.bet has no infrastructure of its own inside the EU. Our processors (Vercel, Cloudflare, Supabase) are based in the United States and may process or store data outside the European Economic Area. Where such transfers occur, they are covered by appropriate safeguards, in particular the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, so that your data keeps a level of protection equivalent to that of the GDPR.

8. Data Retention

Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact-form messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request. Anonymous analytics are aggregated and retained by Cloudflare for a limited period. Server logs are short-lived. We do not retain any betting or gambling data because we do not collect any.

9. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to privacy@cryptos.bet and we will respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL at cnil.fr).

10. Age Requirement

Our website is intended for adults. Gambling is restricted to persons aged 18 or over (or the legal age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

11. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), strict content security policies, and server-side isolation of credentials.

12. Changes & Contact

We may update this policy as the service evolves; the date above always reflects the latest version. Questions or requests: privacy@cryptos.bet.

This policy is subject to change. Please check back periodically for updates.
