G2 Esports play Legacy in the FISSURE Playground #3 grand final on Sunday, 13 September, 11:00 CEST and 05:00 EDT in Suzhou. It is a best of five for $300,000. G2 climbed out of the lower bracket and are the slightly shorter price on some boards, while Legacy arrive with the cleaner LAN form after taking down FURIA and MIBR. The value here is not the match winner. It is map 1, pistols and player kills once the server is live, which is where most CS2 money actually goes.

Match details

FISSURE Playground #3 closes on Sunday at the SND Cultural and Sports Centre in Suzhou, China, after running since 8 September. The total prize pool is $1,000,000, with $300,000 to the champion and $160,000 to the runner-up.

The final is a best of five with no map advantage. G2 did not carry a map over from the group stage, so both teams start level at 0-0. The official stream is the Kick channel fissure_cs_a.

Both sides got here the hard way on Saturday, each winning their semi-final 2-1.

Road to the final

G2 lost their opening group series to Astralis and dropped into the lower bracket, then won five series in a row to reach Sunday. They beat BIG, 9z and 5star, swept FURIA 2-0 in the quarter-final, and edged BetBoom 2-1 in the semi.

Legacy took the shorter path. They beat magic, swept Alliance and beat FURIA in the group stage to reach the playoffs from the upper side, then came through MIBR 2-1 in the semi-final, closing it out 16-14 in overtime on Inferno.

One honest note before you bet it. FaZe, The MongolZ and BIG were all out before the weekend. This is not a final between the two best teams in the world. It is a final between the two hottest teams left in a $1M LAN, which is a different thing and often a better betting proposition, because form is easier to read than reputation.

How the series should play

The boards are split on this one, and that is the single most useful thing we can tell you. Analytics models tend to favour G2 on their five series win streak. Several European sportsbooks have gone the other way and priced Legacy shorter, somewhere around 1.75 to 1.90 against G2 at 2.00 to 2.10, reflecting Legacy's LAN results this season. Legacy also sit above G2 in the Valve global rankings, finished third at the Esports World Cup 2026 and won the CS Asia Championships this year.

Check the line about 30 minutes before the veto. It has been moving all week.

What we can say with confidence:

G2 have won their last five series at this event. Legacy have won four of their last five. Individual event ratings put NertZ at 1.23, latto at 1.22 and n1ssim at 1.21, which is three players in form and three player prop markets worth a look.

On maps, G2 have looked solid on Anubis and Ancient this week, and lost Mirage 7-13 to BetBoom, which is the obvious ban to watch in the veto. Legacy used Nuke and Inferno to close out MIBR, and their Inferno overtime win says something about their nerve in a close half.

Reading the veto

Map 1 is the bet on this card, so the veto is the twenty minutes that matter most. Both sides have shown you what they want and what they will give away.

G2's Mirage is the obvious target. They lost it 7-13 to BetBoom in the semi-final and Legacy will have watched that demo. If Mirage survives the veto and lands as map 1, that alone is worth more than any pre-match read on the match winner.

The other way round, Anubis and Ancient are where G2 have looked composed all week, including a 16-14 Ancient win over FURIA. Legacy closed MIBR on Nuke and Inferno, and their Inferno overtime win is the kind of result that tells you how a team holds up when the map is level at 14.

The practical version: wait for the veto, then bet map 1 with the information everyone else had to guess at an hour earlier. Pre-match map winner markets price without knowing the map. You do not have to.

Markets worth your attention

  1. Map 1 winner. The cleanest bet on the board. No Bo5 context, no comeback risk, just twelve rounds each way.
  2. Map 1 pistol. Fast, liquid, and priced roughly even on most books.
  3. Total maps over/under 4.5. If the over is 2.40 or better, a close Bo5 between two in form teams makes it playable.
  4. NertZ or latto over kills on map 1. Both are carrying their teams right now, and both are above a 1.20 event rating.
  5. Correct score 3-2. Long odds, and we mention it as a long shot, not a prediction.

This is form, not a lock. A best of five LAN final swings on one bad force buy, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.

Thunderpick is our main recommendation for this specific match, because it is esports first and because their own qualifier runs today, so their CS2 pricing desk is fully staffed.

If you want casino rakeback after the match rather than another bet, our Thrill and Roobet reviews cover that separately. It is a different decision and it does not belong in the same bankroll.

How to bet the final in four steps

Deposit in USDT rather than BTC. Your odds should not move because the coin moved while the series was running.

Keep the pre-match match winner bet to one unit. The boards disagree on this final, which tells you the market does not know either.

Hold two or three units back for the live markets on map 1 and the pistols. That is where the price and the information actually meet.

Stop after three losing bets. Not after you have won it back, after three losses. If that rule feels difficult to read, our responsible gambling page is the more useful link on this page.

Same day CS2: the Thunderpick qualifier

There is a second CS2 card on Sunday. The Thunderpick World Championship qualifier runs its semi-finals around 10:00 CEST, with HOTU against BBL, and the final is a best of five in the afternoon.

If you are already up early for the FISSURE final, it is the same sport, the same book and a second card without waiting for the European evening. Our Thunderpick review has the current welcome terms.
